Die Währungsumrechnung nutzt monatliche EZB-Referenzkurse seit 1999 (manche Währungen kamen später dazu) — zum Vergleich gedacht, keine präzise historische FX-Buchhaltung. "Bushel" nutzt das USDA/CBOT-Standardtestgewicht für Hafer (14.52 kg) — ein Bushel ist ein festes Gewicht, das je Getreideart variiert, kein festes Volumen.

Über Hafer

Angebaut für Lebensmittel (Haferflocken, Porridge, Hafermilch) und Tierfutter, besonders für Pferde. Russland, Kanada und Polen sind die größten Produzenten, wobei Kanada der dominierende Exporteur ist — der Aufstieg von Hafermilch als Milchalternative hat neben den traditionellen Frühstücksflocken- und Futtermärkten eine neue Nachfragequelle geschaffen.
