À propos du pois chiche

L'Inde cultive et consomme plus de pois chiches que le reste du monde réuni - ils y sont un aliment de base (dal, chana). L'Australie et la Turquie sont les principaux exportateurs qui alimentent la demande du reste du monde, laquelle a rapidement augmenté à mesure que les pois chiches se sont popularisés comme source de protéines végétales dans le houmous et les aliments transformés en dehors de l'Asie du Sud.
