Sunflower Oil Price
A major cooking oil, especially in Europe, Russia and Central Asia. Russia and Ukraine together supply well over half of world exports, which is why the war in Ukraine caused a sharp price spike and supply scramble from 2022 onward as buyers switched to substitutes like soybean and canola oil. Also used in cosmetics and, to a lesser extent, biodiesel.
