About Millet

A group of small-seeded, drought-tolerant grains that grow where wheat, rice or corn often fail, a dietary staple across semi-arid Africa and South Asia. India is by far the largest producer, followed by Niger and China. Naturally gluten-free and increasingly promoted as a climate-resilient crop, but still traded almost entirely within producing regions rather than on international markets.
