About Soybean Meal
The protein-rich byproduct left after soybean oil is pressed out — the world's dominant animal feed protein, especially for poultry and pork. Argentina, the US and Brazil are the largest exporters; prices move with livestock feed demand and the crush margin relative to raw soybeans and soybean oil.
