About Phosphate Rock
The raw mineral DAP and other phosphate fertilizers are made from - mined, not grown, but tracked here as the upstream cost driver behind DAP's own price. Morocco alone holds an estimated 70% of the world's known phosphate rock reserves, giving it outsized influence over long-run fertilizer supply even though the US, China and Russia currently mine more of it day to day.
