About Potassium Chloride (Potash)
The main potassium fertilizer, essential for root development and drought tolerance. Production is even more concentrated than phosphate: Canada, Russia and Belarus together supply most of the world market, which is why sanctions on Belarus and Russia after 2022 caused a sharp price spike and reshuffled global trade flows toward Canadian supply.
