China grows roughly half the world's apples, far ahead of the United States, Poland, Türkiye and India. This site's price is IMF's benchmark series (French retail prices, the standard international reference apples are tracked against, since there's no major apple futures market) - a consumer-facing number, not a farm-gate one like most other prices tracked here.
